Autism Awareness Month

April is Autism Awareness Month. Persatuan Autisma Melaka Tengah launches campaign Autism is Treatable! Early Intervention is Crucial!  with the aim to make the public aware of early signs and symptoms of autism spectrum disorder and therapy / treatment / teaching methodology that could help an autistic child. Our activities throughout the month include distribution of booklets titled ‘about Persatuan Autisma Melaka Tengah, about Autism Spectrum Disorder’, distribution of posters regarding early signs and symptoms of autism spectrum disorder, publication of articles regarding early signs and symptoms of autism spectrum disorder in the newspapers, two free public  talks on teaching methodology / therapy / treatment for autistic children and finally ‘Walk for Autism 2010 at Malacca World Heritage City’ as the peak event.

Please support us in our efforts to raise awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism spectrum disorder and help us to fight this complex disorder. We really appreciate Yang Bhg Tan Sri / Puan Sri / Datuk / Datin / Sir / Madam participation and contribution in the "Walk of Autism 2010 at Malacca World Heritage City"
